Noel Britton

Noel Britton has been directing, choreographing and performing for the West Valley Playhouse
since 1997.
She began studying acting at New York University's Tisch School of Performing Arts, Circle in the Square Acting Studio and has been
performing throughout the US since then. Past performance credits include Catherine in The Heiress (for which she earned the Valley
Theatre League Artistic Director's Achievement award for Best Actress 2002), the title role in Laura, Thea in Hedda Gabler, Eva Peron
and Mary Magdelegne in the Andew Lloyd Webber Review Music of the Night and Diana in A Chorus Line. She has also been a featured singer
for the Pacific Symphony Orchestra's Benefit Gala, as well as a lead singer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Her past directorial and choreography credits include: The All Night Strut (for which she earned the "Best Director of a Musical for a
Local Theatre" award from the Los Angeles Chapter of the NAACP along with the Artistic Director Achievement Award from the Valley Theatre
League for Direction, Choreography, Best Ensemble and Best Musical for 2001); Inside Out; Grand Night for Singing (LA Times Recommended
List 2003); The World Goes Round (LA Times Critic's Pick 2004); Red Hot and Cole; Shayna Maidel (Backstage West Critic's Pick 2004);
There's No Biz; Requiem for a Heavyweight (which earned Best Drama from the Valley Theatre League for 2005); The Lion in Winter (which
earned Best Director from the Valley Theatre League for 2006); I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, The Taffetas, and most recently
The Chantilly Sisters.
Noel has been a private vocal coach since 1999 and has been the West Valley Playhouse's Musical Theatre Workshop and Acting Workshop
instructor since 2002. She has also held the position of drama instructor for several summer theatre programs for children including
the Culver City Children's Civic Light Opera.
