Peter Brothers(The Vicar) began his theatrical training at Pierce College under the tutorship of Jane Hawkins. He then appeared in a number of productions at CSUN where he obtained his degree in theatre arts. He most recently appeared as Sidney Nichols in Don Pearlman’s Production of California Suite at the Conejo Players.
Jared Swanson (Dennis) is a senior at Hamilton High in Los Angeles and is studying in the Performing Arts Magnet as a Drama major. There he was featured in Tale of Two Cities and in You Can’t Take it With You. He is now preparing for the part of Romeo in The upcoming Hamilton production of Romeo and Juliet. This is Jared’s first production at WHCT and he is extremely excited to be a member of this cast.
Diane Le Moine (Mary)
is happy to be back on the WHCT stage. This is her second appearance as
the housekeeper in an Agatha Christie mystery – the first was Miss Treadwell
in Black Coffee. Other favorite performances in the Valley include
Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Penelope in The Masked Marauder,
and several characters in A Christmas Carol.
Rob Foley (Ronald Hawes) is pleased to be making his debut with WHCT.
Some of Rob’s most recent theater credits include Dick Wilkins in A
Christmas Carol, Paris in Romeo and Juliet, and Flute in A
Midsummer Night’s Dream. Rob is a company member of The Knightsbridge
Theatre in Pasadena.
Courtney Ter-Velde (Lettice Protheroe) is a senior at Hamilton Academy of Music in Los Angeles. She is thrilled to be returning to WHCT after a four-year break from her last performance as Gloria in Wait Until Dark. Courtney has also been involved in such productions as Westside Story, Crazy for You and Singing in the Rain. She plans to major in Musical Theatre in college next year. She thanks her family and friends for all their love and support.
Nancy Seale Shirley (Miss Marple) was last seen in A Murder Is Announced as Bunny, for which she received an ADA Supporting Actress nomination. Her other favorite roles include Aunt Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace and Penny in You Can’t Take It With You. A published playwright, she has had many of her plays produced locally. She gives a big "Thank You!" to Jon for casting her in this great show, to her fine fellow actors, the crew and to her husband, Robert, for putting up with her career.
Deborah Lee Hall (Mrs. Price Ridley) was previous seen on the WHCT stage as Matron in It Runs in the Family. Ms. Hall has been very active on area stages including leads n The Will of George, Cliffhanger and most recently as Olive Madison in The Odd Couple at Granada Hills. Television credits include Married with Children and Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds.
Jessica Mingo (Anne Protheroe) is delighted to be a part of this cast in her first production with WHCT. She most recently appeared in a gender-bent version of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar as Mark Anthony. She has done several short films and commercials, including five spots for America Online. She wants to thank her boyfriend, Chris, her family, and her agent, Anne, of Film Artists.
Robert Reeves (Lawrence Redding) recently moved from Tennessee, with his wife, to pursue an acting career. He studied Theatre at the University of Tennessee and performed with Knoxville’s Bijou Mime Theatre. His theatre credits include God’s Favorite, The Man Who Came to Dinner, The Good Doctor, and Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, where he met his wife. Robert is happy to be debuting in LA in an Agatha Christie play as he greatly benefited from the last one he did. He thanks his wife, Joanne, for her support and for not making him get a real job. (Yet).
Rod Roeser (Dr. John Haydock) has a Drama Logue Award and a Drama Critic’s Award. Rod’s theatrical career spans over fifty years. His credits include many television roles as well as twenty film roles, two of which were starring roles. Rod is represented by Hervey / Grimes Talent Agency.
Frank Collins (Inspector Slack) was born in London, England and is a true cockney song and dance man. He is delighted that Jon Berry gave him this great part in his first non-musical play. Frank had been performing his one-man show, English Music Hall Tribute, at the Fairfax Follies. He just finished Me and My Girl for the Downey Civic Light Opera. A former DJ, Frank had his own radio show in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Frank thanks his acting coach and buddy, Brent Keast.
Ryan Chaddock (Police
Constable Jennings) recently moved to the Los Angeles area from
Ashland Oregon where he studied theatre at Southern Oregon University.
This is the second production with WHCT that Ryan has been a part of and
he looks forward to more in the future.
