Who's Who

Jim Miller (Bernard)  has appeared in several WHCT productions, with some of his favorite roles including Hercule Poirot in Black Coffee and Otis Baker in The Andersonville Trial.  He recently appeared as John of Gaunt in Richard II at Knightsbridge Theatre in Pasedena.  He wishes to thank Jon Berry and the Board of Directors at WHCT for all their creative efforts in the past and wishes them the very best in the future.

Sylvia Deza-Luga (Jacqueline)  has been performing as an actress singer-dancer in and around the Los Angeles area for the past 10 years. She was most recently seen as Mindy in the Morgan-Wixson Theatre's production of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. Some of her other favorite roles include Clair Ganz in Rumors right here at WHCT for which she won a WHCT Best Actress Award for 1998. She has appeared as Marks in South Bays Touring Company's version of Talking With. Sylvia would like to thank her husband Ed and her daughter Francesca for all of their love and support.

Roscoe Gaines (Robert)  Hailing from Calabasas, Roscoe has appeared in numerous local shows including Murder in Green Meadow, The Unexpected Guest and Cat Among the Pigeons.  Roscoe was in our production of Rumors last season and was the killer in WHCT's first production at The Madrid Theatre, The Mousetrap. He also appeared with us at the Madrid in A Tale of Two Cities. Roscoe won the WHCT Best Newcomer Award for 1998. His love for the theatre is only up-staged by his devotion to this son, Zachary, who is currently starring on the baseball fields of West Hills.

Laura Caputo (Suzanne)  is thrilled to be making her debut performance at the Woodland Hills Theatre.  She has recently performed in the Merchant of Venice, … In Times, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, and with the L.A. Connections as a regular improvisation cast member.  Her thanks goes to her mom, dad, and personal trainer.

Marcy Austin (Suzette), from Las Vegas, Nevada, is a former pro golfer, and now makes her home in Newbury Park.  She has starred in many stage productions including, Rumors, The Odd Couple, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, California Suite, I Take This Man and Heaven Can Wait.  She is thrilled to be performing once again at the WHCT, with all her friends and especially her good friend, Sylvia.  Marcy stays busy as the Director of Sales and Marketing for a large auto insurance company, as well as enjoying golf, art galleries, botanical gardens and watching classic movies.  She would like to thank her husband, Gene for all his support and patience with her hectic schedule and thank her stepson, Rory for being a part of her life.

Robert Gilman (George)  This is his first production with WHCT.  He is really excited about being a part of this production.  He has a B.S. in Political Science from Northeastern University in Boston.  He has been studying acting for a year, but has had a life long love for the theatre.
