Steve Ruggles (Burt Hines) was last seen at the Woodland Hills Theater, in One Of The All Time Greats (and was nominated for a Valley Theater League best comedy actor award.) He played Dr. Mortimer in It Runs in the Family (winning a “Woody” award.), appeared in Agatha Christies Black Coffee, and Chekov’s The Sneeze. He has been a part of Los Angeles theater scene for many years and is excited to be part of this inaugural play. His face pops up in TV Commercials from time to time.
Vanessa Luzano (Josie Hines) received her BFA in acting from the College of Santa Fe (New Mexico) this past May. While there, she was cast in Dracula (Vixen), You Can’t Take It With You (Rheba), and a wild production of As You Like It (Rosalind). This is Vanessa’s theater debut in Southern California. She’d like to thank her family for believing in her and cheering her on. “Mom, Dad, Sonny and Rick- this is for you!”
David Corrigan (Ken Norman) is originally from the East Coast and has worked doubling actors like Edward Furlong and Omri Katz. Previous credits include the TV movie Rain Before The Wind and Song Of The Carousel. He can most recently been seen in the lead role of the upcoming film Last Night with Conrad Janis (Mork and Mindy) and in Killing The Vision opposite Rena Riffel (Showgirls). David was last seen on stage reprising the role of Melvin in Cliffhange”. This role had garnered him an Ethel Award nomination for his performance at the Long Beach Playhouse. David wishes to send his love to Linda—“ I continue to revolve around your sun.”.
Craig Duswalt (Ray Dolenz) returns to our stage after winning the 1998 WHCT Best Actor Award for his role as Lenny Ganz in Rumors. Other WHCT appearances include One of the All-Time Greats and The Last Meeting of the Knights of the White Magnolia. Craig's varied past includes a stint on TV's General Hospital and touring with Guns 'N Roses as Axl Rose's personal assistant, as well as appearing in many of their music videos. He currently owns an advertising agency and writes sitcoms and screenplays in his "spare" time. He would like to thank his wife Natasha for everything and say hi to his new son, Tyler.
Kathyrn Terwilliger (Annie Robbins) is performing for the first time with WHCT. However, both her daughters, Andrea and Courtney Ter-Velde, have performed the company, so she feels right at home. Since moving to LA in 1987, Kathryn has appeared locally as Karen Nash in Plaza Suite, Mona in Come Back To The Five and Dime, Jimmie Dean, Jimmie Dean and Beatrice in The Effects of Gamma Rays on Main in the Moon Marigolds. She thanks her husband, Thom Velde, and daughters for the love and support they always give.
Chuck Licata (Vinnie Bavasi) was born in Queens, New York. He started taking acting classes in college and performed in four plays. He appeared as a contestant on The American Gladiators TV show in 1995, and moved to Los Angeles in 1996. Since then he’s had lead roles in ten student and independent films, a recurring role on Port Charles, a national General Motors commercial, and appeared on five game shows. This play is for my Mom, Dad, brothers Michael and Jon, sister-in-law Belinda, and my nephews Joseph and Michael. I love you guys and miss you all very much. Also for Lisa the best thing that has ever and will happen to me. I love you. Thank you for believing in me.
Hara Finnegan (Sammii) This is Ms. Finnegan's first play in the Los Angeles area since leaving the Chicago theater scene three months ago with her super bad lover dog Lola. She hopes to have a long career in the theater and has future plans to play Mary Pickford in her life story as America’s first movie star. To her favorite dad: a reminder that a promise is a promise.
Fitz Houston (Lewis Barnett) is new to the Woodland Hills Theatre/West Valley Playhouse, his TV Credits include City of Angels, The Michael Richards Show, Parenthood, Sister, Sister, Sparks, Seinfeld and Married with Children. Upcoming films include, Four Dogs Playing Poker, Footsteps, and Eastside. Stage Credits include The Amen Corner, A Soldier’s Play, The Wiz, Guys and Dolls, and Once on this Island. He wishes to thank his wife, Jahna, for all her support and loving kindness during his career.
