Paul Lewis (Sir Rowland Delahaye) recently played the lead, George Hay, in Ken Ludwig's very funny "Moon Over Buffalo" with The Conejo Players. After a hiatus from the theatre since coming from London, Paul has been honing his skills in Ken Lerner's Acting Workshop, and he is happy to be back on the 'Boards' – So Are We.
Billy Minogue (Jeremy Warrender) is excited to be returning to WHCT/West Valley Playhouse. You may remember him from “The Haunting of Hill House.” Billy has appeared in numerous productions while studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He recently finished work on the feature film project “Laurietta” playing “Josiah Dubois” a southern Boulvedere, in which Billy was able to pull from his hometown roots in New Roads, Louisiana. Currently, Billy is working on the independent film “Last Shot” with his latest stage endeavor being “A Basketful of Weirdo’s” with the AWAS theatre group. He also has numerous national commercials running. Billy thanks his Agent, Teacher, friends and family.
Sharon Cohen (Clarissa
Hailsham-Brown) a graduate of Northwestern University, made
her professional debut in the Chicago Light Opera Works production
of "Lady in the Dark." Last year, she portrayed Gwendolen in "The
Importance of Being Earnest" at the Pearson Playhouse in Pacific Palisades.
Previous roles include Joanna in "Present Laughter," Raina in "Arms and
the Man," Evie in "Stop the World…I Want to Get Off " and the title role
in "The Duchess of Malfi." When not acting, Sharon runs a thriving
business writing the synopses on the back of video and DVD boxes.

Chelain Goodman (Pippa
Hailsham-Brown), 16, has played such roles as Mary Lennox in
"The Secret Garden, "Alice in "Alice and Wonderland, " and Mercy in "Ring
around Elizabeth." She enjoys singing, dancing, and playing the violin,
which she has played at the Democratic National Convention and at
the Jerry Lewis Telethon. Next year, Chelain will be attending Swarthmore
College as a Chemistry major.
Beverly Caplan (Mildred
Peake) recently portrayed Mrs. Dudley in “The Haunting of Hill
House” Beverly was a lead performer with the Neighborhood Players
of Philadelphia. Since moving to California, she has been in many
San Fernando Valley and L.A. productions such as “The Night of January
16th” “The Cross Over”, “Sunday Dinner”, “Go Back for Murder “ Guys
and Dolls”, “Gods Favorite”, “The Unexpected Guest” “Fools”, and
“Gigi”. She has also appeared in quite a few television shows such
as “One Day At A Time”, “Archie Bunkers Place”, “Different Strokes”
and “The Young and the Restless”, on which she had a recurring role.
At the 1996 ADA Awards, Beverly was nominated for her role in “Gigi”.
She also is a terrific baker, and in addition, she challenges anyone
in the audience to a game of Backgammon.
Bob Van Dusen (Elgin)
This is Bob's second bio for the West Valley Playhouse, but the first one
to be written on his brand new, pretty blue Imac computer. When not
performing, Bob enjoys looking for things he just had in his hand, and
wondering why he went into the kitchen.
Stephen W. Dorsch(Oliver Costello) Substantial roles in Neil Simon’s “Come Blow Your Horn” and “GodSpell” set the stage for two decades of work in television and film production. Working behind the scenes he gained beneficial theatrical technique, such as ‘mugging for the camera,’ from Tom Selleck and tips on “How to Succeed at Business…” from Michelle Lee. Stephen’s return to the stage just over a year ago is punctuated here by what can only be described as “a role to die for.”.
Tom Hyer (Henry Hailsham- Brown) arrived in Los Angeles just over three years ago from Pittsburgh, PA. He has 20 years of experience in theatre performing in such productions as "All's Well That Ends Well," "The Miser," "Rumors" and "Bent." His most recent performance was in "The Braggart Soldier" at the Culver City Public Theatre. He has also done commercials, films and print ads over the past eight years. Tom says that he realizes what a strange trip it has been.
Frank Collins (Inspector Lord) is very happy to be back with Jon Berry after portraying Inspector Slack in last seenyear's “Murder at the Vicarage.” He has been performing his one-man song and dance show and is a regular at the Fairfax Follies where he was named "Entertainer of the Year 2000." Frank just finished "Anything Goes" as Bishop Dobson (what a stretch!) for the Downey Civic Light Opera. Love to my Mrs. Terri, for putting up with me..
Danny Truxaw (Constable
Jones) is returning to the stage after twenty years behind the
scenes. He has an MFA in directing and was a recipient of the Inland
Empire Theatre Circle award for excellence in directing. Over the
last thirty years Danny has designed sets and lighting for many productions
including several as a guest artist at Cal State Northridge. Danny
was also technical director for American Theatre Arts and Immaculate Heart
College in the ‘70s. He also worked with the Bread and Puppet
Theatre both in their visits to LA and Vermont.
