David Stifel (Sasha Smirnoff) Previous WHCT appearances include "The Fantasticks," "The Sneeze," and "Knights of the White Magnolia"(Best Supporting Actor 1995) Watch for David ‘s guest star appearance this June on the WB series "The Nightmare Room" David recently worked with Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg on the upcoming Sci-Fi film "Minority Report".Steve Ruggles (Gordon Miller) was last seen in our inaugural production "Proposals." He also starred in "One of the All Time Greats" and was nominated for a Valley Theater League best comedy award. He played Dr. Mortimer in "It Runs in the Family," where he won a "Woody" award, appeared in Agatha Christie's "Black Coffee," and Chekov's "The Sneeze." He has been a part of Los Angeles theater scene for many years and is excited to back at West Valley Playhouse. His face pops up in TV Commercials from time to time.
Michael Eisenberg (Joseph Gribble) From Moliere's "Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme" toBilly Minogue Edward Albee's "An American Dream", Michael has enjoyed a number of years performing on stage. This is his 14th production with WHCT. He was last seen as the irascible Hugo Birch in Agatha Christie's "Spider's Web". Michael is thrilled to be working with such a talented director, cast and crew.
Bob Van Dusen (Harry Binion) "Room Service" is Bob's third production with West Valley Playhouse but who's counting? His biggest show biz credit to date is one line on the Drew Carey Show. Bob is a playful mammal who enjoys golf, cooking, and pestering his family.
Andrew Badach (Faker Englund) originally from Chicago moved to Los Angeles to pursue wealth and happiness. He is still looking. He's been in several commercials, feature and independent films, sitcoms, and many more. He's very excited about working with the West Valley Playhouse. He'd also like to thank Holly for writing his bio.
Sharon Cohen (Christine Marlowe), a graduate of Northwestern University, recently starred as Clarissa in WHCT's 2001 season opener "Spider's Web." The year before, she portrayed Gwendolen in "The Importance of Being Earnest" at the Pearson Playhouse. Sharon made her professional debut in the Chicago Light Opera Works production of "Lady in the Dark." Previous roles include Joanna in "Present Laughter", Raina in "Arms and the Man" and the title role in "The Duchess of Malfi." When not acting, Sharon runs a thriving business writing the synopses on the backs of video and DVD boxes. Billy Minogue (Leo Davis) is excited to be returning to the WVPH. You may remember him as Jeremy Warrender in Agatha Christie's "Spider's Web" and Luke Sanderson in "The Haunting of Hill House." Billy has appeared in numerous productions while studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Billy has just finished working on the independent short "First and Foremost" He also has numerous national commercials running. Billy would like to thank his family, friends, agents and teacher.
Chelain Goodman (Hilda Manney) has played such roles as Mary Lennox in "The Secret Garden." Alice in "Alice and Wonderland," Mercy in Marquie's "Ring around Elizabeth," and most recently Pippa in our production of "A Spider's Web." She also sings, dances, and plays the violin, which she played at the Democratic National Convention '00. In September, Chelain will be attending Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania studying chemistry.
Wynn Rowell (Gregory Wagner) is a veteran actor of 60+ performances. He is appearing at the WVP for the first time. Among his favorite roles, he counts Moorehouse in "USA" and Willie in "The Sunshine Boys." Wynn dedicates "Room Service" to his patient and understanding children, Becky and Jack and to his beautiful granddaughter, Beverly, the next actor in the family.
Kevin Pass (Simon Jenkins) originally from Gainesville, Florida, transplanted himself in Los Angeles five years ago and has thrilled himself working with various theatre companies since landing hereBob Bielecki. Kevin's credentials stem from musical theatre, "Oliver" and "Annie" to completing 3 indie films in the last 2 years, "Voyeur.com", "Delusional" and "Difficult Places". His more comical roles and most favorite in theatre have been Samuel in "The Curious Savage" and Simon Jenkins in "Room Service", for television, a dying alien in "Sliders". He acquired his B.A. in Liberal Arts at Goddard College and had the honor of working as an acting apprentice at Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Russ Burd (Timothy Hogarth) is happy to be making his LA stage debut in this production. He is from the New York area, where he studied acting and appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions. We're very happy he has joined this production.
Bob Bielecki (Dr. Glass) marks Bob's return to the stage after a very long time. In an earlier life, he has appeared in such plays as, "The Madwoman of Chaillot", "Othello" and "Scapino". This is Bob's debut performance with The Woodland Hills community Theatre
Jennifer Bridge (Messenger) this is Jennifer's third show for WHCT. Her other efforts include "A Tale of Two Cities," and "Night of January 16th." Jennifer is currently an unmarried 15 year old with creepy friends and a great dog. She wishes to thank Jon, her family and Wendy for their support.
Bernie McGinnis (Senator Blake) credits include deputy sheriff in "Deep Are the Roots," Arvide Abernathy in "Guys and Dolls," Sgt. Trotter in " The Mousetrap," the American Ambassador in "Romanoff & Juliet," Internal Revenue agent in "You Can't Take it With You," and the chorus of "Carousel " and "How to Succeed." This is Bernie's first production with WHCT.
