Jon Berry's Portrait:JonBerryas founder and Artistic Director for WHCT has directed all but six of our productions. Jon Berry has won multiple awards including Artistic Director Achievement Award for Excellence in Live Theatre for 1998 by the Valley Theatre League. In the same year, he also won the best director award for The Fantasticks and best supporting actor for A Tale of Two Cities, Parts I & II. In 1996, Jon also won best director for Gigi.  As an actor, he has worked on stage professionally in New York, Kentucky, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. He originated the role of Eddie Hayhurst in the Academy Award winner Horton Foote's critically acclaimed off-Broadway production of The Roads to Home. He had a recurring role on the Fox's Network's series, Mr. President.  He has appeared in episodes of Quantum Leap, Matlock, and Doggie Howser, M.D among others.  He has also appeared in many television commercials both locally and nationally. On our stage, he has had key roles in several of our most notable productions. 

Jon recently directed the production of On Golden Pond at Horse CaveTheatre in Kentucky. Mr. Berry has directed all but six of our plays and is very proud of all the Woodland Hills Community Theatre's productions.

Crew's PhotoSueStrong (Stage Manager) is joining WHCT for the fourthtime as Stage Manager. She also performed in WHCT's February productionof Agatha Christie's Black Coffee. Sue's other credits include suchproductions as Oklahoma, Grease, Picnic, Crimes of the Heart, Who'sLife Is It Anyway?, and Play It Again, Sam Sue has slo performedin Riverside Civic Light Opera's production of Evita

Lisa Craig(Assitant StageManager) is joining WHCT for the fourth time. Lisa took theunassailable task of Stage Manager for this year's Agatha Christie performanceof Black Coffee . She was also assistant Stage Manager for the resentperformance of A Tale of Two Cities. Lisa is excited to once againjoin the WHCT team. 

Diane LeMoine (Props Mistress)has served in the last 5 WHCT productions. She enjoys set dressingand props, but prefers to be on stage. Diane was last seen as the Vengeance(The lady with her hair in her face) in A Tale of Two Cities

Don Nelson (Costumer)hasappeared in many WHCT productions, among them, Little Mary Sunshine,Brigadoon, and Stage Door. His work with Kiss Me Kateearned him a Valley Theatre League A.D.A. award. He has also done costumesand props for several WHCT shows, including Guys and Dollsand TheAndersonville Trial. Don has also designed costumes for area productionsof Little Shop of Horrors, Twelfth Night,and The CherryOrchard

Karen Hartt (AssistantCostumer)has been with the WHCT for the past three years. She enjoys theaspects of alterations and repair of costumes as well as the creative areasof costuming. Karen has enjoyed watching the play take shape from beginningto end. She gets a good laugh during rehearsals. Karen began designingclothes in High School and keeps her sewing machine and needles busy forus. Outside the theatre, Karen is a preschool teacher at the Magic YearsNursery School. 

Mike Montgomery (Set Designer/Construction)After helping his dad Steve on many of our sets we are happy thatMike was able to take on the contruction project on his own, Thanks, Mike.
